As somebody completely new to liquid culture, I was honestly worried I would spend money on this and ruin it with one bad move. Ten cc did not sound like much at first, so I hesitated on the price. After using it, I think the value is actually pretty fair. I was able to inoculate multiple jars without feeling like I had to waste anything, and the culture looked active and clean, which mattered a lot to me as a beginner. For me, value was less about getting the cheapest syringe and more about getting something that gave me a real chance of success on the first try. If you are nervous and trying to avoid paying twice for a failed start, this felt like money spent in the right place.

This is a reorder for me, which is usually the simplest way I judge whether a culture is worth keeping around. My first syringe colonized cleanly on grain and fruited without any surprises, so I came back for another one when I wanted to run more yellow oysters. The second order looked consistent with the first. Same clean appearance, same visible mycelium in suspension, and the same steady performance after refrigeration. I like that I do not have to guess whether I am getting a one-off good batch or something repeatable. For me, that is the main reason to reorder instead of trying a different seller every time. If the first run had been average, I would have moved on. Since it performed well twice, this has become one I am comfortable buying again.
