For my regular warm-weather straw bucket runs, this has been one of the more dependable cultures I keep around. I’ve ordered enough liquid culture over the years to know which ones actually suit a repeatable setup, and I use this one specifically for small patio grows where I want fast colonization and bright clusters without babysitting every step. I inoculated two pasteurized straw buckets, kept them in a shaded corner with plenty of fresh air, and both took off cleanly. The color on the first flush was exactly why I bought it again. Used 3cc across two grain jars and both showed steady, even growth without any obvious contamination. Colonization started quickly and finished faster than I expected for a winter run. I moved the spawn to straw and got bright yellow clusters with good density. Flavor was mild and pleasant after a quick saute. Having ordered plenty of liquid cultures over the years, I can say this one outperformed my previous golden oyster attempt from another seller. That earlier syringe colonized unevenly and stalled on one jar. This batch moved cleanly through grain and looked more vigorous from the start. I used the same setup, same substrate plan, same storage routine, so the difference was pretty obvious. For repeat growers, that kind of consistency matters.
