For once, the math actually worked in my favor. I used this on a couple grain jars and still had enough left to put a little to agar, which is more than I can say for some syringes that seem to contain optimism and half a teaspoon of liquid. The culture looked healthy, moved cleanly, and started growing without turning my project into a biology lesson about contamination. From a value standpoint, that matters more to me than fancy wording on a product page. If one 10cc syringe can cover multiple inoculations and do it reliably, I am not complaining. Golden oysters are fast enough that you feel like your money bought something alive rather than a very expensive refrigerator ornament. I would buy this again without needing to hold a board meeting first.
