Description

Antler Reishi (Ganoderma multipileum / lucidum) Liquid Culture Syringe – 10ml / 10cc

Grow One of Nature’s Most Distinctive Functional Mushrooms

Explore the fascinating world of Antler Reishi with our premium Grospore 10ml (10cc) liquid culture syringe. Known for its unique branching, antler-like formations and deep reddish-brown coloration, Reishi is one of the most recognizable functional mushrooms cultivated by mushroom enthusiasts. It is sold across the market as Antler Reishi, deer antler reishi, branched reishi and lingzhi, and listed variously as Ganoderma multipileum, Ganoderma lucidum and Ganoderma lingzhi — suppliers genuinely disagree on the name.

Our vigorous liquid culture provides active, healthy mycelium designed for reliable colonization and consistent performance, making it suitable for both newer growers and experienced mushroom cultivators.

Antler or Conk? The Culture Is the Same — the CO₂ Is Not

This is the single most common point of confusion with reishi, so it is worth stating plainly: antler reishi and the flat, kidney-shaped conk are the same organism, and the form you get is a cultivation variable rather than a genetic one. Antler formations are encouraged by sealing the growing environment and letting CO₂ build up while limiting fresh-air exchange. Open the bag and increase fresh-air exchange, and the same culture will produce classic laccate conks instead. If you want antlers, keep the FAE low.

Why Choose Antler Reishi Mushrooms?

  • Unique Antler-Like Growth – Produces striking elongated formations that create an impressive and unusual mushroom display.
  • Popular Functional Mushroom – Reishi has a long history of use in traditional wellness practices and remains one of the most recognized functional mushrooms worldwide.
  • Excellent Cultivation Project – Its unusual growth pattern makes Antler Reishi especially interesting for hobbyists, educators, and mushroom enthusiasts.
  • Long-Lasting Fruiting Bodies – Reishi develops dense, woody fruiting bodies that can be harvested and dried for extended storage.
  • Strong Colonization – Reishi mycelium is known for its dense, aggressive growth characteristics.

Lab-Tested Liquid Culture for Reliable Growth

Our Grospore Antler Reishi Liquid Culture Syringe contains vigorous living mycelium, lab-tested and prepared in our ISO-certified cleanroom to support healthy colonization and dependable cultivation performance.

Each 10ml (10cc) syringe offers:

  • Live Mycelium, Not Spores – This is a liquid culture (LC) syringe, not a spore syringe. There is no germination step, so colonization begins as soon as you inoculate.
  • Lab-Tested & ISO Cleanroom Prepared – Every batch is lab-tested for purity and prepared in an ISO-certified cleanroom, so what reaches you is clean, contaminant-free and viable.
  • Faster Colonization – Active mycelium helps promote efficient colonization compared with starting from spores.
  • Convenient 10ml (10cc) Syringe – 10cc and 10ml are the same volume. Easy to use with appropriately prepared sterile growing media, grain spawn or agar.
  • Antler-Selected Genetics – Cloned, isolated Ganoderma mycelium selected for dense, colorful antler formation under high-CO₂ conditions.

How to Grow Antler Reishi Mushrooms

  1. Prepare the Substrate – Hardwood sawdust-based substrates supplemented with appropriate nutrients are commonly used for Reishi cultivation. The same syringe can also be used to inoculate sterilized grain spawn, grain jars or bags, or an agar plate.
  2. Inoculate – Inject 2–3cc (2–3ml) per grain jar or bag through a self-healing injection port, using sterile technique in a still air box or in front of a laminar flow hood.
  3. Colonize – Allow the mycelium to fully colonize the substrate in suitable incubation conditions.
  4. Create Antler Conditions – Antler-like formations are generally encouraged by maintaining high humidity while limiting fresh-air exchange during early fruiting, letting CO₂ build up in the growing environment.
  5. Develop & Harvest – Allow the characteristic elongated Reishi formations to mature before harvesting.

Storage, Shelf Life & Shipping

Refrigerate your liquid culture syringe on arrival. Stored at 35–45°F (2–7°C), upright and out of direct light, it stays viable for 4–6 months. Orders ship fast from Oregon in discreet packaging, with tracking on every order and a 30-day return policy on unused items.

A Fascinating Mushroom for Growers and Collectors

Antler Reishi offers a completely different cultivation experience from traditional cap-and-stem mushrooms. Its sculptural growth patterns, deep coloration, and functional-mushroom heritage make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to expand their mushroom collection.

Whether you are exploring mushroom biology, experimenting with different fruiting forms, or cultivating functional mushroom varieties, Antler Reishi provides a rewarding and visually impressive project.

Compared with my previous reishi attempt from another seller, this one behaved like it had actually read the assignment. The last syringe gave me slow, patchy growth and a lot of time to reflect on my choices. This culture moved into grain cleanly and much faster, and once I tightened up fresh air, I got the antler form I was aiming for. Nice to have the mushroom cooperate for once.

  2. Melvin Yates

Package was put together correctly. Syringe was capped tightly, needle was sealed separately, and nothing leaked in transit. Labeling was easy to read, which matters when I am refrigerating cultures with similar-looking supplies in the same bin.

Back for a second syringe because the first run did exactly what I asked and none of the things I fear at 11 p.m. while reading contamination forums. The original culture stayed clean, moved well on grain, and gave me the antler form I wanted once I kept fresh air low instead of hovering over it like an anxious landlord. Reordering felt easy because I already knew what I was getting, which is rare enough online to deserve a small ceremony. I did not need a thrilling surprise package or a personal journey. I needed another reliable syringe so I could repeat the same setup with less guesswork, and that is what showed up. In this hobby, that counts as romance.
