  • Vigorous Genetics – Cloned, isolated Pleurotus djamor mycelium known for its fast-growing and productive characteristics.

How to Grow Pink / Flamingo Oyster Mushrooms

  1. Prepare the Substrate – Straw, hardwood sawdust, and other appropriately prepared lignocellulosic materials are commonly used for Pink Oyster cultivation. The same syringe can also be used to inoculate sterilized grain spawn, grain jars or bags, or an agar plate.
  2. Inoculate – Inject 2–3cc (2–3ml) per grain jar or bag through a self-healing injection port, using sterile technique in a still air box or in front of a laminar flow hood. Substrate may be sterilized or pasteurized.
  3. Colonize – Allow the mycelium to fully colonize the substrate under suitable incubation conditions.
  4. Initiate Fruiting – Once fully colonized, provide high humidity, fresh-air exchange, indirect light, and suitable warm fruiting temperatures.
  5. Harvest & Enjoy – Harvest clusters while the caps are vibrant, tender, and well formed for the best appearance and culinary quality.

  1. Nina P.

I bought this mainly because I wanted something colorful for a warm weather grow, and it turned out to be the easiest culture in my rotation. The syringe arrived cold, the liquid looked clean, and it took off fast on grain. Fruited in dense pink clusters sooner than I expected. Flavor was great once cooked, kind of savory and meaty. I’d order it again, just be ready to give it plenty of fresh air.

  2. Brett, NV

As my first culture order, I was weirdly anxious about leaks or damage. The packaging helped a lot. Everything arrived sealed, cushioned, and tidy, and the syringe cap felt secure enough that I stopped second-guessing it.

  3. Anonymous

Was expecting flimsy packing and a loose cap, honestly. Instead everything arrived tidy, sealed, and protected well enough that I stopped worrying before I even opened it. Simple packaging, but it clearly did the job right.

  4. C.L.B.

Since this was my first time ordering a liquid culture, I was honestly worried it would sit in transit too long and show up warm or ruined. It actually arrived much faster than I expected, with tracking updating along the way so I was not left guessing. That quick delivery took a lot of the stress out of trying something new, and everything looked good when I opened it.

  5. Dale Whitcomb

Used 3cc on two grain jars and it moved fast. That was the whole point, and it delivered. Growth showed up quickly, colonization stayed even, and I did not see the usual sketchy slowdown halfway through. Fruited into bright pink clusters with decent size and more than one flush. Not much else to say. It worked, it stayed clean, and I would use this one again.

  6. Russell J.

For my warm-weather straw bucket runs, this has been a reliable one. I order cultures regularly, and this pink oyster keeps colonizing fast and fruiting in tight clusters when I want something quick for weekend cooking.

  7. Amy N.

Since I was pretty intimidated trying liquid culture for the first time, I kept expecting something to go wrong. I inoculated two grain jars and both started showing healthy growth faster than I thought they would. No weird smells, no obvious contamination, and the mycelium looked strong the whole way through. I am still learning, but the actual results gave me a lot more confidence for the next run.

I order cultures regularly, and support here answers fast without the usual copy-paste runaround.

  10. M.D.

Tried this after a failed pink oyster attempt from another source last summer. Big difference. This culture recovered quickly from shipping, showed steady growth on agar, and transferred cleanly to grain without any weird stalls. I liked that I could split one syringe across several projects and still have enough left. End result was a much stronger run than my previous attempt, with nice color and a decent harvest for the space used.

Inoculated cleanly, colonized grain quickly, and produced dense pink clusters.

Cloudy in the right way, visible strands, and both jars took off evenly within days. Exactly what I watch for.

  14. Anonymous

Good volume, clean looking culture, and fast start. Worth the price for a specialty edible.

  15. Elliott

Picked this up for my brother because he has been getting deeper into gourmet mushroom growing, and I wanted to make sure I was ordering the right thing. Before buying, I sent customer service a question about whether this was liquid culture or spores and asked how long it would keep if he did not use it right away. They answered clearly, without a canned feel, and explained the refrigeration range in plain language. That honestly made the difference for me, since I was buying a gift and did not want to hand him something confusing or half-right. He ended up being pleased with it, but my review is really for the support team. They were prompt, patient, and specific enough that I felt comfortable placing the order.
